Watch this exclusive cctv footage, as sourced from our colleagues based in India… these are the terrifying moments when a car crashed at great speed into a local restaurant located in the city of Ranchi in the Jharkhand State of India.

The driver was apparently parking the car with his family and is said to have hit the accelerator pedal instead of the brakes and lost sudden control of the car towards the restaurant.

Miraculously, no one was seriously injured during this incident.
“The man sitting in the chair next to me had minor injuries from the shattering glass. It was like a scene from a movie!” a customer, who was escaped unhurt, said.

Manager of the restaurant, a Mr Shawkat Galaria described to us the moments during the incident as he was sitting behind the table which the car came crashing into:
“It really was one of those miraculous moments that could have been disastrous for guests, as well as myself. We are really blessed and it is only afterwards that we can realise how lucky we were!” he said.
In a country where occurrences are commonly believed to be fateful, this was certainly an incident where good fate was on the side of all the people dining in the restaurant during this lunch time.
