Meet our friend Sajad Gharibi… an Iranian bodybuilder known as THE PERSIAN HULK who has announced across social media that he wants to take on ISIL (also referred to as ISIS), and travel to Syria to defend besieged mosques.
We can proudly say that our research team found Sajad on instagram a little before the media frenzy that since followed… we have also been speaking with him on instant chat and he told us he was honoured that people outside of his home country were interested in his profile, and he also mentioned his dream to want to travel the world including wishing to one day visit London in UK too.
But what he also said is that he is angry with the likes of ISIS militants who have been causing havoc around the world and giving his beloved, and peaceful religion a bad name in the west. He is upset about the pain and hurt these people are causing even to people from his own religion and everyone else, because as his religion teaches him… he believes in Humanity first and Peace and Love amongst all people!
Sajad Gharibi, is a 24-year-old natural powerlifter, and he has over a space of a couple of weeks become a social media superstar owing to his incredible ‘super-hero-like’ physique. He appears to revel in the attention drawn by his bulging 23-stone frame, showing off news clippings and celebrity mentions to his 10,000+ and rising Instagram followers.
He is also getting the celebrity endorsement with Jamie Foxx, the Oscar-winning actor, commenting
“The guy doesn’t even need CGI… #RealLifeHulk”
– remarks which seemed to delight Mr Gharibi, who reposted them to his own fans on his instagram.
His posts, mainly in Persian, detail how he wants to volunteer with Iranian forces battling Isil, and guard Shia mosques being destroyed by the Sunni terrorists, according to remarks translated by experts.
But he also shows off a softer side.
In one image he poses, bizarrely, with a can of Fanta. In another he shows off his breakfast – eggs and tea.
On July 4 he sent his best wishes to Americans celebrating Independence Day.
“The answer to our prayers has finally arrived. Why don’t you send in Captain America and Batman and Robin while you’re at it?” wrote Adrian Morton.
Some doubted that the giant would prove to be an effective soldier.
“Whilst I think this guy is TRULY impressive, I worry that his size will make him SOO easy to spot. He’ll be in SOOO much more danger.
“Thanks so much, Hulk, but we think you’ll be better off at home,” Marian Leed posted on the site.
Sandie Chapman agreed: “I doubt he will be much help. I really don’t think there is much hand to hand combat with Isis fighters. They would be better with the help of sharp shooters.”
She added: “I don’t think these muscle bound people move very fast either!”
But whatever individual social media users think, we believe in real-life super heroes because we know many and have worked with lots worldwide. So for us, SAJAD GHARIBI is a real-life super-hero in the making… and for now, he can enjoy his new-found global social media superstar status and here’s hoping he is the HERO the world needs right now!
Interestingly, the perceived notion that superheroes can only be from USA, UK or other western countries is also being quashed… and we personally know that there are real-life superheroes in every city and country worldwide because we’ve made it our own personal mission to try and find them every day!!!
