This week UK based ‘Strong-Woman-in-training’ Asha Rani displayed another feat of incredible female strength as she builds towards the launch of an independent international charity project she is fronting called ‘SAVE THE GIRLS’ – the charity is set up to help inspire and support women in need in parts of South Asia and in the UK.
Asha wowed the public, and the local media this week in the West Midlands by displaying 2 feats of quite unique and pretty unusual strength. First she pulled a SMART Car weighing in at 740KG (plus 1 person sitting in the car) with the power of her eye-lids, and then after some technical issues with the equipment she pulled the car with the power of just her teeth.
Manjit ‘The Iron Man’ Singh, the proud uncle and supporter of Asha Rani, the family of whom who are of Indian, Punjabi descent, himself is well-known for his own feats of incredible strength such as bursting a water bottle with his own mouth and pulling trucks and planes with his ears, and also having appeared on ITV’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ TV show.
Speaking about the charity launch planned to go live on the upcoming ‘International Womens Day’ on 8th March he said:
“Asha has already shown the world how strong she is and we want her to be the inspiration to show women anywhere around the globe that they too are strong and can do anything they put their minds to. In my own community often the role of women in areas such as Sport, Education and Careers is often not encouraged enough and so we want to publicise this and encourage everyone to be proud of their daughters and their sisters.”
Asha on the day also said:
“I want to use my abilities not just for fun and entertainment but also to be a display of how strong any woman can be around the world. I am proud of what I can do and I will keep training to wow the world even more, which hopefully also encourages us to do more good to help women where any support is needed. I know some people may think this is an unusual way to do something good, but it’s something I am gifted with so why not!”
Manjit and Asha are planning an array of incredible activity in 2014 in both India and in the UK. They travel to India in March and will be unveiling the charity during the International Women’s month being honoured throughout March 2014.”
Asha Rani will also be seen on the upcoming promos for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent 2014 where she lifted show judge Amanda Holden with just her ears.
She has also just recently set another new world record for even heavier weight-lifting with both her hair and ears.
