Mass Sandcastles built on beach in Devon, UK

We advocate fun in all of its forms… and when we heard that a group of lively folks gathered at a beach in one of our favourite parts of the UK… in Devon, we had to find out more about what was going on and why!

Over 250 members of the entertainment team at Devon Cliffs Holiday Park in Devon took to the beach and set themselves the challenge to make the most amount of sandcastles ever built in one hour and in one location.

The number they had to beat was 2,230 sand castles, which sadly wasn’t met but they got close and it didn’t put a dampener on the fun side of the gathering.

After all, challenges are called as such for a reason, and even if you don’t beat it, the main thing is the taking part and the manner in which you do so!

Looked like these guys certainly know how to live life on the less serious side… and we just wish we were there with them!!!

One guy certainly walked away a little more smug and happier than the rest… well, the picture says it all really!!! Well done Adam Kaufman from the holiday park entertainment team…
